Miss Brenda Shaw, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Shaw of Amissville, became the bride of Harold Walker, son of L. H. Walker of Vlewtown on Sunday, January 9, 1966. The ceremony toojc place at two o'clock in the Forest Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Kindred officiating.
Mr. and Mrs. Walker are living at the bridegroom’s home at present.

Cubbage of Culpeper were afternoon guests of Mr. and Mrs. Olney Kennedy. On Saturday 0|ney Kennedy and nephew Charles Kennedy of Slate Mills visited Mr. and Mrs. Benny Jenkins at Brandy Station. Sunday guests of the Kennedy's were Mr. and Mrs. James Minnis and son Chris and John Coates of Culpeper, Miss Betty Kennedy of Alexandria, Billy Minnis of Woodbridge and Mr. andMrs. Waver Kennedy and son Charles of Slate Mills. Monday Olney and Waver Kennedy visited their brother-in-jlaw and sister Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Sisk in Sperryville. Mr. and Mrs. William Woodruff of Luray were guests Dec. 7 of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Waddell. The Woodruffs taught the Waddell children when they lived in Kensington, Md. On Wednesday the Waddell’s entertained four young women, former students of theirs, all from Kensington who attended Walter Johnson High School at Bethesda, Md., the Misses Elizabeth White, home from Michigan State for the holidays, her twin sister Margaret White from Syracuse University, Judith Hall from the University of Tennessee and Jeannie Woolston from the University of New Ham psMre. The young ladies visit they Waddells several times duijing the year. Mrs. Waddell’s mother Mrs. Oma McClung of Baltimore arrived Friday to spend the week-end. Mrs. Deco Carter entered Culpeper Memorial Hospital Monday for observation and treatment. W. G. Carter 6f Front Royal was a Tuesday dinner guest of his brother-in-law and sister Mr. and Mrs. George A. Johnston and also visited his mother Mrs. Deco Carter in Culpeper Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Cary Thornhill were Friday overnight guests of their daughter Mrs. Elma Manuel and daughters of Winchester.
