Summer School Open
Tuesday, June 18th
Summer school for preschool children and for a selected group of students of grades 1 through 6 will open Tuesday, June 18, 1968 and continue through July 26. The summer school program under the supervision of James Wayland of Sperryville will be held at the new Rappahannock Elementary School and hours are from 9 a.m. until 12 noon. Bus transportation will be provided. The pre-school classes will promote reading readiness for children who will enter the first grade here in September. It will consist of reading and numbers and aid in the social adjustment of children when they begin the regular first grade. Classes for the selected students are correctional reading and place emphasis on reading, writing and spelling. These students are from all schools in the countv.
NOTICE!
All 4-H members interested in attending camp must have their application and $5.00 registration fee in the county extension office by Friday, June 15th.
