Airman 3 David Lyne of Patuxent Naval Base spent the weekend with his parents Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Lyne. He will now be stationed at Norfolk Naval Base.
Weekend guests of the Rev. and Mrs. W. A. Harrison and Kevin were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Harrison and Frances Harrison of Richmond. Kevin returned with his grandparents for a weeks visit. Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Shade and son of Falls Church spent Saturday with Mrs. D. M. Dwyer. Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Partlow of Culpeper were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Gore and on Tuesday they were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Wayland. Weekend guests in the Wayland home were Mr. and Mrs. Larry Wayland and daughter of Arlington.
Mrs. Margaret Dwyer returned to her home on Sunday after a visit with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Dwyer and family in Woodbridge. She was accompanied home by Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Gagner of Springfield.

Area Manager
Anthony T. Reed, area manager for the Chesapeake and Potomac Telephone Company who has been promoted from his post here to Records OfFice Manager in Alexandria, has made his presence felt during the three years he has been in Culpeper.
He has been Second Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce, Campaign Chairman for the local 1966 American Cancer Society Drive, Director for the Culpeper County Cancer Society, and a director of the local Mental Health Association.
Other activities have included being a member and director of the Culpeper Kiwanis Club, advisor to the Freedom Studies Center at Boston, Director and Activities Chairman for the Culpeper Country Club and vestryman at St. Stephen Episcopal.
Reed took over in Alexandria June 1. His wife, Jane, their two children will join him there as soon as moving arrangements are completed. Replacing the former Area Manager in Culpeper will be a Richmond native, Wayne Dementi, a 1966 graduate of the University of Richmond. Dementi was promoted from his position of business manager in the C&P’s Richmond office. Formerly, he was a management assistant in Richmond. The new Area Manager holds a B.S. Degree in business administration. He began his duties here June 1. Dementi is a member of the Jaycees in Richmond and belongs to Emanuel Episcopal Church there. His wife, the former Sherall Willoughby of Richmond, will move to Culpeper with her husband as soon as arrangements are made. J
