enroute home after attending commencement at VPI where their son Dwight was a graduate. The Pecks and Lathams accompanied by Mrs. David Streagle and children, had dinner in Warrenton. Mrs. Ruth Corbitt has returned home after visiting her sister Mrs. Viola Burley in Bedford and friends in Radford.

Mrs. L. S. Smith has returned home after being a patient in the Fauquier Hospital for tests and treatment. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kittridge of Lansing, Mich, returned home Wednesday after visiting Mrs. Odessa Ficklin. Friday Mrs. Ficklin and her houseguests and the Rev. W.A. Layman were in Manassas where they visited Mrs. C.M. M. Green at Manassas Manor Nursing Home and visited Miss Mary Lou Kines and Mrs. Maffie Poe at the District Nursing Home. Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Priest and family were visitors Sunday afternoon of Albert Priest at Luray Nursing Home and of Mrs. Herbert Poe in Front Royal. Monday Mrs. Priest visited Mrs. Jacob Heflin in Warrenton. Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Powell and Mrs. Nellie Herzog of Washington were visitors one day last week of Mrs. Hugh Riley. Mrs. Herzog remained to spend several days. Other callers of Mrs. Riley and Mrs. Herzog were Mr. and Mrs. C. D. Green of Warrenton, Mrs. John Poe and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Carter. The WSCS ofAmissvllle Methodist Church met last week with 13 members present. Hostesses for the meeting were Mrs. Pauline Latham and Mrs. Ruth Corbitt. Mr. and Mrs. O. C. Mitchell have moved into their new home.
