Warren Wilson Wines II, the four month old son of Mr, and Mrs. Warren W. Wines of Chevy Chase, Md., died Sunday morning, June 9, 1968. The child and his parents were visiting at the home of Mrs. Wines’ parents, Mr. and Mrs. A, T. HalleatAmissville. Mrs, Mary Pearson of Warrenton is his paternal grandmother. A graveside service was held Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m. in the Warrenton Cemetery with the Rev. Leaunder T. Saunders officiating.

Murphy Weakley

John Murphy Weakley of Sperryville died Sunday, June 9, 1968 at the veterans hospital in Richmond. He was 54. Besides his wife, Mrs. Rose Fleshman Weakley of Sperryville, he is survived by two brothers, Rollan Weakley of Landover, Md., Nola Weakley of Seat Pleasant, Md., and four sisters, Mrs. I. C. Bryant of Dunedin, Fla., Mrs. Harold Chapman of Ruckersville, and Mrs. Leroy Robinson and Mrs. Forrest Hawkins, both of Madison.

A funeral service was held at 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Bethlehem Methodist Church, Nethers Mill. The Rev. B. B. Kent and the Rev. Paul Davis Jr. officiated and burial was in Etlan Cemetery. Mr. Weakley was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U. S. Army. He was a lifelong resident of Madison County, and was the son of the late Eppa Hunton Weakley and Rhoda Fincham Weakley, both of Madison County.

George Ficklin

George W. Ficklin of Amissville died June 7, 1968 at Fauquier County Hospital, Warrenton. He is survived by a daughter Mrs. Annie F. Taylor; six sons, Staley Ficklin, Temple Ficklin, Billy Ficklin, Henry Ficklin, Ernest Ficklin and Bernard Ficklin. Also surviving is his mother, five sister^ three brothers and six grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held today, Thursday, at the Bethel Baptist Church, Amis» ville with the Rev. R. 1. Banks officiating, and the Rev. Ausberry, pastor, will deliver the eulogy. Interment will be in the family section of the church cemetery.
