Speaks Here May 21
Dom Bernard Theall, book critic, associate professor at Catholic University, literary columnist and TV reviewer, will come to Rappahannock County Library, Wednesday evening, May 21st to discuss some of the current literature dealing with the problems of universities and the youth movements.
Dom Bernard is a member of the English Benedictine Abbey in Washington, D.C. He was taught, lectured and written on books for the past twenty years in the' Washington area.
All who are interested in the 1 current problems of our universities and the difficulties of dealing with the new freedom '
given, or sought by our youth are| cordially invited to hear Dom Bernard at the Library Wednesday, May 21st at 8 p.m.
Elementary PTA
Meets May 20th
The Rappahannock CountyElementary School P.T.A. will meet in the School Auditorium on Tuesday night, May 20, at 8 p.m.
After a short business meeting, a group of elementary pupils will present a program entitled, “Know Your School”. Textbooks and other instructional materials, as well as audio-visual equipment, will be on display after the program.
Refreshments will be served.
