Two hunters were good enough to score twice this Spring. Dickie Latham of Amissville bagged two and John Silvey, Jr., also of Amissville brought home two bearded birds. The second of Silvey’s was a 20 pounder.
H. C. Lehew got an 18 pound, 3 oz. bird and C. E. Windle a 20 pounder. For both it was a turkey for the second consecutive year in Rappahannock County and Gavor Foster of Flint Hill brought in a 19 pounder this year.
