received a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University. His military education includes graduation from the Army Ranger and Airborne Schools, Fort Benning, Georgia and the Basic and Advanced Engineer Career Courses at Ft. Belvoir. Among his various assignments was a tour of duty in Korea and Vietnam. He was awarded the Air Medal and Bronze Star Medal while serving in Vietnam.
Major McNear is now assigned to The Office of the Asst. Secretary for Defense for Manpower and Reserve Affairs, Pentagon.
A July wedding is planned.
