Storing Seasonal Clothing
Now is the time of the year to store away the woolen garments that were worn by the family members during the winter months. There are several rules which if followed will make it a pleasure to get the clothes out in the fall.
Clothing should be stored seasonally to give more room in closet for clothing in use and to protect clothing not in use from light fading, gas fading, extra soil, wear from coat hangers and attacking insects.
Be sure that all garments are clean before storing. For woolens, have them dry cleane , if not washable. This is most important because when clothes moths attack a garment, they hit spots or stains first.
