Muth Named President Of Art Trade Assoc.
George E. Muth, president of Geo. Muth Co., Inc. in Washington, D.C. has been elected president of the National Art Materials Trade Association which represents more than 800 dealers, manufacturers and importers from around the world. In addition to their home in the metropolitan area, Mr. and Mrs. Muth own “Stonehaven” a farm near Woodville and spend much of their time here. Mr. Muth is president of the Rappahannock Hunt.
Culpeper DAR Met in Spqryyille
The May meeting of the Culpeper Minutemen Chapter of the DAR was held at Cab-Inn. Sperry ville with Mrs. R. E. Thompsen, Mrs. Charles Estes and Mrs. C. E. Johnson, Jr., as co-hostesses. After the business session, Mrs. John Kearns, program chairman, showed slides of two of Virginia’s outstanding gardens, Monticello and Mount Vemon. Shown were the original layouts and names of all the shrubs and flowers in the gardens. Delicious refreshments were served at the close of the meeting.
