Time to sign up for these summer fun activities is fast running out. Better hurry before it is too late.
1969 4-H Tour and Picnic
A trip through Monticello combined with a swim and picnic at Graves Mountain Lodge will be highlight of the June 19 trip. Total cost including bus fare, picnic, insurance, Monticejlo and swim will be $6.00. All 4-H’ere planning on taking this trip must sign up at the Extension Office by this Friday June 13.
Beginners’ Swimming Classes
Classes start Monday, June 16, 5:30 p.m. at Meadowbrook Hall. Beginners’ swimming classes will be taught by Paul Nichols and Mrs. Ann Hargett. Classes are open to all children who are non-swimmers and in school grade 1 through 7. This Friday, the 13th, is the deadline for signing up.
4-H Camp at Holiday Lake ... August 11-15
Now accepting applications. Total cost of camp will be $17.00. The 4-H County Council will pay the $6.00 transportation charge.
