Do you fall for “something for nothing”...the next shopping sin? It is almost impossible to get something for nothing. If you think you are, watch out. A good example is the towel, glass, or dish in the detergent box. Ask yourself, if you need and would use the item. Is there less detergent in the box because of the space it takes? Stores offer many kinds of promotions to attract the customers...games, contests, trading stamps, etc. If you save stamps, be sure to spend your stamp books just as carefully as you would cash.
The sixth shopping sin could be called “snob appeal” Where do you shop? Are you paying more for elaborate packaging, convenience, prestige labels, fancy service, or free delivery?
