The Rev. and Mrs. B. Gale Titchenell and children Sue and Bobby attended the Howard University College of Dentistry Senior Honors and Awards Program on June 5. At the time the Robert Titchenell Memorial Award, a bronze plaque, was given to Dr. James M. Bailey, Jr., the student who most exemplified the ideals of the late President John F. Kennedy. The award was made possible by Dr. Gerald Steinberg as a token of appreciation for receiving the collection of Kennedy memorabilia which Robert Titchenell had collected from all over the world during the past Five years. This collection will eventually be placed in the John Fitzgerald Kennedy Memorial Museum. Robert Titchenell was a brother of Rev. B. Gale Titchenell.
Sunday dinner guests of the Titchenells were Fred Childs, Thomas Fayle, Mrs. Esther Wilkerson and Miss Virginia Smigley of Philadelphia.
