2. For wintering beef calves where only two to four pounds of grain is used with silage, wheat can be used as the only grain.

3. For sheep, lamb feeding or brood ewes, use preferably 25% wheat in the total grain ration and not over 50%.

4. For swine, market hogs and brood sows, use preferably 50% wheat in the ration but may use up to 100% providing it is cracked coarsely and corn is priced substantially higher.

Licenses on Sale

Hunting, fishing and trapping licenses for the 1969-70 fiscal year have been distributed to some 325 official Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries license vendors across the state and may now be purchased, reports Fiscal Division Chief Sam J. Putt. Although the new licenses may be purchased this month, they are not valid until July 1. The current licenses will expire June 30.
