KORAT, Thailand, Camp Friendship (10)—Specialist Four Donald L. Porter, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Porter of RR 1, Box 75, Washington, Va., was recently assigned to the 334th Signal Company, U.S. Army Support, Thailand (USARSUPTHaI).
Specialist Porter, a radio repairman, entered the Army in October 1967 and completed his basic training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina.
He is a 1967 graduate of Rappahannock High School, Washington, Va.
Commanded by Brigadier General David E. Ott, USARSUPTHAI is the U.S. Army component command in Thailand. It is made up primarily of engineer construction, signal, quartermaster, ordnance, transportation, and medical units.
