Added to existing four-lane sections and to projects under way or proposed for the near future, the section through Amissville would provide about 12 miles of continuous four-lane road from the west end of the Washington bypass to the Culpeper County line in Rappahannock County
When completed as part of the Arterial network, U S. 211 will provide a modern multilane road from New Market to Arlington County.
