Long May It Wave - Flag Day - June 14 As I left Rappahannock County Elementary School one day early this spring, the wind whipped Old Glory and the Virginia Flag briskly on the flagpole. The heavenly blue background of the sky interrupted occasionally by a tuft of soft white cloud made a perfect setting for a picture which caused a shiver to tingle up my spine. I saved it for this week.
