Softball League
The Village team remains in First place in the league and increased her lead by defeating Amissville 11-3 last week. However, Amissville stayed within striking distance by
winning the next three ^>ames while Village remained idle. The Amissville victories were over Vlewtown 5-1; and Charted Industries twice, 15-4 and 9-7. Viewtown also won three games during the week by defeating WTC all three times, 9-3; 13-12; and 12-2.
The final week of play finds three teams still in the race. Charted has a chance for a tie, but the real fight is between Amissville and Village for the opportunity to meet Vlewtown for the season championship.
