The annual Amissville Firemen’s carnival grossed in excess of $13,700 according to figures announced by treasurer Charlie Compton. The Are company and community extend thanks and appreciation to all who worked for and with firemen, rescue squadsmen and auxiliary members whose coordinated efforts produced a successful event. To all who attended, contributed or assisted in any manner, a hearty thanks is extended, said a company spokesman.
