Chester Gap Plans
Weekend Carnival
The Chester Gap fire company and rescue squad will sponsor a two-night carnival this week-end, September 4 and 5 at the carnival grounds there. Included in the activities will be games, prizes and rides. The rides are owned by the fire company and tickets are 25 cents each. A special feature of the carnival will be a bake sale each night and a gentle pony will be given away.
The regular carnival at Chester Gap in July was rained out two nights and this week-end event is sponsored to supplement the annual fund raising carnival. The public is invited and urged to support these volunteer units.
Trinity Church Schedule •1 ■Trinity Episcopal Church, Washington, will resume its winter schedule of services on September 6, Holy Communion: 8 a.m., Sunday School: 10 a.m., main service: 11 a.m.
