He is survived by his wife Estei Jenkins Woodward; two sons, Burrell C. Woodward and Clifford Woodward, Jr., both of Washington, Va.; five daughters, Mrs. Collier O’Donall of Madison, Mrs. Jack Dodson of Flint Hill, Mrs. Jake Smoot, Jr. of Washington, Va., and Mrs. Hugh Fincham and Mrs. Carl Smoot, both of Front Royal; 24 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock in the Masonic Cemetery at Washington, Va., conducted by the Rev. James Adkins. Pallbearers will be Jonas Jenkins, William Estes, Clarence Baldwin, Bradley Dodson, Warren Foster and L. V. Merrill. The Turner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
