Miller
Brooke Menefee Miller of Washington, Va. died September 1, 1970 at his residence. He 79 yean of age and had been in declining health for a long time. He was the son of the late Brooke R. Miller and Mrs. Mae Menefee Miller.
Mr. Miller served as the judge of Rappahannock County Court for 17 yean, retiring in June 1962. He had also been a real estate broker. He served in the U. S. Army during World War I and was stationed in France with the 29th Division.
Survivon include his wife, Mn. Virginia Gore Miller; a brother, Henry Lloyd Miller of Luray and two sisten, Mn. Bertie Lib Moffett and Mn. Wade H. Massie Jr., both of Washington, Va.
A graveside funeral service will be held Thursday, today, at 11 a.m. in the family cemetery at Greenwood Farm, near Washington. The Rev. William A. Harrison will conduct the service. Pallbearers will be Dr. Brooke Moffett, James W. Fletcher, Mark Johnson, Mark William Johnson, Charles K. Estes, James F. Massie, Thomas B. Massie and Wade H. Massie III. , Clore Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
