Elmer Lee Fincham
A funeral service for Elmer Lee Fincham, 52, of Washington, Va. was conducted Tuesday with full military honors at the graveside in the Culpeper National Cemetery, the Rev. Gordon George conducting the service.
Mr. Fincham was found Sunday near his home after being missing for several days.
His father was the late Collis Fincham of Rappahannock County, who died in early life.
Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Corrie Fincham Smith and a stepfather Milton Smith of Manassas; two half sisters, Mrs. Ruby Glass of Alexandria and Mrs. Evelyn Huffman of Lorton; two half-brothers, Stockton Smith of Woodbridge and Buddie Smith of Parkton, Md.
Mr. Fincham was a veteran of World TOriPrapd so ^Korean War.
Smoot Twin Infants
Graveside funeral services were held Tuesday, August 25 at the Washington Masonic Cemetery for David Allen and Ricky Lynn Smoot, infant twin sons of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Smoot of Washington, Va. The service was conducted by the Rev. James Adkins. The infants were bom in Warren Memorial Hospital on August 21, 1970 and died in Winchester Memorial Hospital on August 21 and 23,1970. Surviving besides their parents are a brother, Johnny, and two sisters, Sue and Joan Smoot, and a grandmother, Mrs. Tom Smoot, all of Washington, Va.
