Demonstrations of Crafts in many different fields will be a feature of the 4th of July celebration at the Rappahannock Library, Sunday, July 4.
Demonstrations will be given as follows: needle point and crewel embroidery by Mrs. I. L. Parrish and Mrs. T. J. Pillar. Pieces of completed work will be shown as well as work in progress with information on material needed and where it may be obtained. In Ceramics, clay and molds and the applying of glaze will be demonstrated by Mrs. Woodrow Bennett and Mrs. Helen Kilby. Tole Work will be shown by Mrs. Pillar and Rug Hooking by Mrs. Irvin O. Wolf. Mrs. Daniel Noce will demonstrate rug braiding, and Mrs. Earl Kilby chair caning. Demonstrations of wood carving and copper enameling will be done by Mrs. Mary Cleverley and Mrs. Charles H. Estes.
