French Monroe

French Monroe, 55, formerly of Middleburg, died June 14, 1971 in Seattle, Wash, where he had lived since 1967. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Myrtle Dodson Monroe of Middleburg; his mother, Mrs. Annie Baker Frazier of Chester Gap; two sons, French Monroe, jr. of Clear, Alaska and Wayne Monroe of Middleburg; a daughter, Mrs. David Smith of Middleburg and three grandchildren. Also sur viving are two sisters, Mrs Robert Frazier of Middleburg and Mrs. Bennie Atkins of Chester Gap.

A graveside funeral service will be held at the Frazier lot in the Washington Masonic Cemetery at 11 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Roj Mathena, pastor of Chester Gaj Baptist Church, will conduct th< service.
