Rev. Layman Leave*
The Rev. W. A. Layman, who has served as pastor of the Little Fork Methodist Charge which includes the Amissville United Methodist Church, has been assigned to a church in Tappahannock and with his family leaves today. Rev. Douglas Kanney of Charlottesville will assume the Methodist pastorate in Amissville in September. Until that time supply ministers will serve the charge. Rev. Kanney and his wife, Penny, will move into the parsonage at Jeffersonton in the fall.

The Bake Sale at the Library, Sunday, July 4, is under the chairmanship of Mrs. Robert Anderson and Mrs. Quenton McCoy.
