Two cars collided last Thursday on Route 211 a mile west of Amissville when one driver made a left turn across the path of an approaching vehicle. However, no injuries resulted and property damage was minor.

According to Trooper W. A. Buntin, Richard Mason Carter of Hume operating a 62 Rambler station wagon turned in front of Virginia Lee Schwartz of Laurel, Md. in a 67 Dodge station wagon. The Schwartz vehicle rammed the Carter station wagon.. in the side. Carter was charged with failing to yield the right of way and damage was estimated at $400 to Carter and $500 to Schwartz.
