Mr. and Mrs. James Vest were guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. John S. Dodson in Sperryville. Other guests were Mrs. Vest’s brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Donnie Good and two children of Stanley and her brother, Maurice Wayne Dodson who is a patient at Walter Reed Hospital in Washington, D. C. and Miss Mildred Jenkins of Madison.
Vance Butler and the Virginia Playboys will furnish music for the Flint Hill Firemen’s Picnic to be held June 27 at 4 p.m. at the Carnival Grounds.
Miss Addie Boyd spent several days last week with Miss Lucye Fisher at Woodville.
