Two people escaped injury Tuesday evening when the 1970 Opel in which they were traveling went out of control and turned over on Route 211 in Amissville. Marcus Carter of Culpeper operating the vehicle and a passenger were checked at Fauquier Hospital and released following the crash. Carter was charged with reckless driving by Trooper G. F. Gregory who investigated the accident.

Trooper Gregory also investigated a collision earlier Tuesday in Flint Hill at the intersection of Routes 522 and 641. Mrs. Cornelia Welch of Huntly was making a right turn in a 65 Chevrolet when she was struck from behind by a 70 Buick operated by Clarence Edward
