Dr. John Peyton Snead IV has assumed the position of director and psychiatrist of the Fauquier Family Guidance Center and will have office hours in the Warrentoi Center each Tuesday. He will continue his private practice of child psychiatry in Falls Church and plans to open a similar practice later this year at his home near Rixeyville. Dr. Snead is the son of Dr. and Mrs. J. P. Snead jr. of Sperryville and was formerly associated with his father at his Sperryville office. He earned his undergraduate and medicai degrees from the University of Virginia and his psychiatric training with specialization in child psychiatry at Georgetown University Medical Center. He served with the U. S. Army for three years following his College graduation. Dr. Snead and his wife, the former Sharon Fosque of Onancock, Va., have two children, Stephanie and John Peyton V.
