The gymnasium floor at Rappahannock County High School is getting a face lifting. The parquet floor installed when the high school was constructed has never proved satisfactory and this summer is being replaced by new maple hardwood. The old floor was taken up and a survey made to insure the cement base is level. Now a layer of polyethelene is being put down, followed by steel tracks which have a layer of treated celotex between them and the maple flooring will be put on top of the tracks.
