A Hobby Horse needs almost as much attention as a real live animal. Prior to the opening last night of the Sperryville firemen’s carnival, Mrs. LaMerle Williams gave the wooden horses on the Merry-Go-Round a good scrubbing. The carnival rides are owned by Chester Gap and Mrs. Williams assisted her husband in preparing for and assuring good operation of the rides at the Sperryville festivities. The carnival continues through Saturday and a big parade is scheduled for tonight, Thursday.
