The annual Sunday School picnic of the Chester Gap Baptist Church was held Saturday at the Cacapon, W Va. State Park. There were fifty-one in attendance.

Mr. and Mrs Ed Goranson were visitors last week in Lancaster, Pa. Mr. Goranson’s mother Mrs. Lydia Goranson and his sister Mrs Harriett Merrill returned with them and spent the weekend at the Goranson’s cottage in Blue Ridge Mountain Estates. Other visitors Sunday were Mrs Paul Beigbeder, Paul, Jr. and Mrs. Linda Shade and daughter of Alexandria, and Mrs. Pearl Mills of Huntly.
