14-H’ers Appreciate
Camp Scholarships
Forty-five 4-Hers in the county enjoyed an exciting, educational, and fun week at Powell’s Fort 4-H camp last week. This was possible because of assistance provided by many interested persons in the county. The extension office would like to thank Mrs. Lester A. Smith, Mrs. George Sharp, Mrs. Edward Parker, the Amissville H.D. Club, the Public Welfare Foundation of Washington, and several anonymous donors for providing scholarships to camp, and Mrs. Loretta Lee, Mrs. Bertha Armel, Mrs. Mary Williams, Charlotte Printz, John Lee, Roy Beck, Mrs. Maybelle Gilkey, Russell Aylor, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Perdue, Mrs. Janet Vest, Kermit Weakley, Mike Anderson, and William Printz for providing transportation to camp.
