A funeral service was held Wednesday at Shiloh Baptist Church, Woodville, for EMC Kermit C. Wallace, 32, who died July 17, 1971. The Rev. C. A. Baltimore conducted the service and interment was in Culpeper National Cemetery. EMC Wallace was serving with the United States Navy in Honolulu, Hawaii. He was home on leave and sustained fatal injuries in a traffic crash Saturday night near Woodville.
He is survived by his parents, Clarence M. Wallace and Mrs. Beulah Davis Wallace of Woodville; his wife, Mrs. Hester Wallace, a daughter, Kimberly Wallace and step-daughter Michelle Cox of Honolulu; four sisters, Mrs. Elijah Barber of Culpeper, Mrs. Augustus Gordon, Mrs. Arlene Gordon and Mrs. James E. Jamison, all of Washington, D. C.; four brothers, Arnold M. Wallace of Lanham, Md., Clarence F. Wallace, Brentwood, Md., Alvin D. Wallace, Washington, D. C. and George Wallace of Arlington.
