Ole Hollow Reunion
The fifth Ole Hollow reunion was held Saturday, July 17 at Ole Hollows Hill Church. Those attending were Mrs. Curtis Kight and Mrs. Betsey Harrell, Wheaton, Md.; Mr. and Mrs. John Metzger, Lorton; Mr. and Mrs. Ray Shade, Falls Church; Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Gagner, Springfield; Mr. and Mrs. Ray Dwyer, Elk wood, Mrs. Edith Johnson, Hartwood; Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Vaughan, Stafford, Mrs. Edward Clatterbuck, Arlington, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Compton, Reva; Mrs. Cloe Brown, Woodville; Mrs. Robert Johnson and Mrs. Alvah Waters, Luray; Mrs. R. A. Palmer, Virginia Beach, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Burke, Silas Beahm, Washington, Mrs. Tenie Updike, Mrs. Nina Dwyer, Mrs. Ruby Dwyer, Mrs. Ida Cornell, all of Sperry ville.
Youth Choir Sings
The Young People’s Choir of Amissville Baptist Church presented special musical numbers at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church, Woodville last Wednesday evening during the Revival there. Those participating in the program were Kay Lawrence, pianist; Lee Lawrence, Stanley Settle jr., Ronnie Kelly, Marsha Perkins, C. G. Lawrence, Jr., Martha Settle, Pamela Settle, Ada Wright, David Melbourne, Debbie Jeffries, Beverly Hitt and Johnnie Hitt. After church the group enjoyed an “ice cream’’ get-together in Culpeper.
The choir was accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Robert B. Settle and Mrs. Stanley Settle. Mrs. Robert B. Settle is director of the choir.
