Mike Smoot pitched excellent ball and Perry Breeden hit a 2-run double as Amissville beat C-C-C 21 at Vint Hill Farms Saturday night to win the Championship of the Pee Wee Division of the Fauquier County Little League. Smoot pitched the entire game allowing 3 hits, and two walks while striking out seven.
Breeden doubled in the fourth scoring 2 runs following singles by Wilbur Glascock and Barry Adkins. Amissville collected 5 hits and played sound defensive ball to hand CCC their second defeat in 3 years. CCC had won the Championship for three consecutive years.
