Adult 4-H Leaders
Feted with Dinner
A Multi-County leaders recognition banquet was held at the Culpeper Holiday Inn, November 30. 4-H adult volunteers from Culpeper, Fauquier, Madison, Rappahannock and Orange Counties were recognized for their support to the 4-H programs in their respective counties. Mrs. Helen Fairfax and Mrs. Lois Snead were recognized by Extension Agents, W. R. Owings and Kay Webb for their support of the Rappahannock County 4-H Program. Eleven other adult volunteers, who did not attend the banquet, received their recognition through the mail this week. The 4-H program depends heavily on adult volunteers to help youth to learn by doing. Adults are bridging the generation gap by sharing their ideas with youth all over the country by serving as adult leaders to the 4-H program.
