Callers in the home of Mr. and Mrs Lawrence Williams Sunday were Mrs. Mabel Wood, Mrs. Mary Mauck, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Chadwell and three children, and Mr. and Mrs. Billy Wines and family. The December meeting of the Homemakers Club will be a Christmas Party Thursday evening, December 16, and will be held in the home of the president, Mrs Caroline Leake. The program planned will include a gift exchange. Mr. and Mrs. Billy Daniels and daughters Cynthia and Angela of Newport News visited Mrs. Daniels' parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew R. Williams and Mr. and Mrs Joe Williams over the weekend. Tuesday Mark Griffith left for his home in Rockaway, N. J. to spend the holidays with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Georg Griffith. Mark resides here with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Cain, while attending Lord Fairfax Community College at Middletown.
Mr and Mrs. Ottie E. Ralls of Beaver Dam Farm had as guests over the weekend their son, Specialist-5 Tex Arden Ralls, Mrs. Ralls and their infant son. Tex is on a 15-day furlough from the Army in Germany. Other guests in the senior Ralls’ home were Mr. and Mrs. Louis Fallen from New York
