Miss Charlotte Ann Prysock became the bride of Donald William Bowen in an evening ceremony Saturday, December 4, 1971 at Corbin, Virginia. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Prysock of Woodford, Virginia. Mr. Bowen is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William R. Bowen of Amissville.
The ceremony was performed by the Reverend Harold 0. Bartlett at seven o’clock in the Round Oak Baptist Church at Corbin. The altar was decorated with palms and arangements of white gladioli and wrought iron candelabra held lighted tapers.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. Her long gown was of white organza over taffeta designed with long, full sleeves and high neckline. The bodice and cuffs were accented with lace and embroidered appliques. Her elbow length veil was attached to a cap of lace enriched with seed pearls.
