Lillard on Blue Ridge Avenue were her sister Mrs. Luther Coppage of Marshall and daughter Mrs. Reva Heyl of Warrenton. Mr. and Mrs. George H, Davis, Jr. spent the week-end with their son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Reverdy Jones, III at Fairmont, W. Va.

Samuel Sandidge of Wilmington, N. C. was a guest from Wednesday until Sunday of his nephew Quenton McCoy and Mrs. McCoy at their home on Mt. Salem Avenue. Mrs. L. J. Turner spent from Friday until Monday with Mr. and Mrs. William S. Dewhirst in Richmond. On Sunday Mrs. Turner and Mrs. Dewhirst attended funeral services for Mrs. Turner’s brother-in-law the Rev. Archer Vines Turner at the Manuel Baptist Church in Newport News.
