Elect Officers
The Castleton Fire Department, at its December meeting on the 6th, elected officers for the coming year. Charles Gasch was named to the position of president, with Robert Craft as vice president. Fire chief is Roy Lee Knighting and assistant chief is Mitchell Hitt with Howard Kenny as captain. Gene Fisher was named lieutenant and Betty Hawkins and Martha Knighting were elected secretary and treasurer, respectively.
Ray Scott was selected to act as fire marshal and delegates will be Robert Craft and Charles Gasch with alternate delegates Bobby Dennis and Mitchell Hitt.
The November meeting of Castleton Ladies Auxiliary was devoted to the election of officers for the group. Installed as president was Mrs. Donna Fisher with Mrs. Doris Dennis acting as vice president. Mrs. Emma Craft was named treasurer and Mary Craft took the position of secretary.
