In addition to using good conservation methods on his own farm he has been spreading the gospel of conservation throughout the county by serving on the ASCS , County Committees for more than 15 years, and is now Vice Chairman of the Committee. Mr. Massie is a member of the Feeder Calf Association and is a past director of the local wool pool and present director of the Rappahannock County Farm Bureau.

He is on the Board of Directors of the Culpeper Farmers Cooperative, president of the Rappahannock Historical Scoiety, on the County Electorial Board and Zoning Board of Appeals.

Mrs. Massie is on the Rappa- i hannock School Board and on the local Mental Health Association Board.

CAPTAIN William Keim was cited for his extensive wildlife conservation program. He provides large areas of cover and food patches for large and small animals, birds and waterfowl. This habitat management insures propagation of wildlife and is most compatible with his Christmas tree forming operation.

The Reims are active in the Rappahannock League for Environmental Protection. Mrs. Keim is president of the Rappahannock Garden Club and social secretary of the Rappahannock Hunt.
