We then discussed the impeachment questionaire that he sent to voters during the summer. I objected to his separating male and female opinion as a violation of my civil rights. The crowd was most vocal in disagreeing with me.
He objected to my referring to it as the impeachment questionaire and stated that there were other questions. I took issue with this and said that the other questions had been around for a long time and he had not polled his constituents as to their wishes but what issue could approach the magnitude of the question of whether or not the Congress should impeach the President of the United States? The crowd was silent and appeared uncomfortable at the mention of this vital issue.
