Mr. and Mrs. Ashby Green, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Dunnigan and Irva Poe were in Rockville, Md. Friday to attend the funeral of Larry Willett.
Visitors of Mrs. Hester Poe from Marlow Heights, Md. were Richard Estes on Sunday and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Estes, Tuesday.
Mr. and Mrs. Grady Graham of Arlington spent Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Price Wyatt and Barry Wyatt of Alexandria was a Monday caller. Mrs. Wyatt was in Alexandria Thursday to visit Mr. and Mrs. Frank Saffelle, Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Lee and Mrs. Helen Aitcheson.
Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Poe, Ronnie Lee and Teresa spent the weekend in West Point as guests of the Rev. and Mrs. W.A. Layman.
Mrs. Evelyn Harrison has returned home after being a patient in Fauquier Hospital.
Friday luncheon guests of Mrs. Fletcher Osborne were the Rev. and Mrs. Tom Hedricks of Mt. Jackson who with Mrs. Osborne visited Mrs. Maphis Payne in Fauquier Hospital in the afternoon. Saturday visitors of Mrs. Osborne were Mrs. Pauline Ellingsworth, Mrs. Mildred Lash and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Harvey of Newport News. Mrs. Effie Youngman of Arlington called on her Sunday.
Mrs. Vernon Burner and Mrs. Mary Burner and Becky were Tuesday callers of Mr. and Mrs. Ivar Jacobs.
The Amissville Homemakers Club will meet at 7:30 November 4th at the Baptist Church. A demonstration on making lampshades will be given by Mrs. Charlie Priest and Mrs. Mason Hitt and the proper use of lighting will be discussed.
