Uur Kappahannock Cross Country Team participated in a meet this past Tuesday at William Monroe High School, competing against Montevideo and William Monroe teams. William Monroe finished with a score of 80, Montevideo with a score of 50 and Rappahannock won with a perfect score of 15. Bill Taylor came in first for Rappahannock setting a new course record of 14:15. Jerry Thomas was second, Ronnie Nicholson third, Clifton Jenkins fourth and Raymond Groves fifth.

Billy Dawson placed seventh, Tom Metzinger ninth, Jerry Grigsby tenth. Montevideo men

took sixth and eighth places and a William Monroe man placed eleventh.
