Mr. and Mrs. James Sykes and Brad were in Fairlea, W. Va. during the weekend to visit his mother, Mrs. Pearl Sykes, who is hospitalized. They also visited his brother, Harry Sykes of Ohio, who was visiting Mrs. Sykes.
Mr. and Mrs. Ryland Horiston and Mr. and Mrs. E.B. Neff of Frederick, Md. were afternoon callers Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wood Sr. and Mr. and Mrs. H.B. Wood Jr. Their dinner guests were Mrs. R.L. Blanton and Miss Mary Nell Blanton of Amelia.

Woodville Homemakers Club sponsored a Halloween party Friday night at the home of the Rev. and Mrs. G.B. Titchenell with Miss Sue Titchenell as leader. About 30 persons attended.
Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Grigsby and children of Irvington, N.J. were guests for dinner Sunday of Mrs. Ada Settle. Other visitors were Charlie Grigsby, Jerry, Donna and Vincent. Mrs. Paul Grigsby of Castleton is spending some time with Mrs. Settle.
