“If a voter has not voted in at least one election that has been held in his county or city since January 1971 his name will be removed from the registration books on December 31, 1974,” Mrs. Mahan said. “If this occurs, the individual would have to appear in person before the registrar and re-register.”
“I urge all the qualified voters in the Commonwealth to vote on November 5,” Mrs. Mahan continued. “The right to vote, as with all other rights, carries with it a responsibility; the responsibility to cast a ballot in every election in which one is entitled to vote.”D
