Mrs. Hite
Mrs. Marie Ellen Hite, 73, of Sperryville, widow of Cornelious Randolph Hite, died October 23, 1974 at Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
She was a former teacher at Handley High School in Winchester and also at Belle Meade School in Rappahannock. She was a farmer and orchardist.
Born in Culpeper County, she was the daughter of the late Walter Bluford Kilby and Margaret Yowell Kilby. She is survived by five brothers, Dr. Walter L. Kilby of Baltimore, Md., ^ucio J. Kilby, Earl J. Kilby and Irvin R. Kilby of Sperryville and Maury W. Kilby of Wytheville; two sistters, Mrs. Aylette Buckner of Sperryville and Mrs. Lewis W. TVus, Jr. of Richmond.
Mrs. Hite was a member of F.T. Valley Baptist Church and was recently made a Life Member of the Virginia Federation of Garden Clubs. Graveside services were held Friday at Woodville Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by the Rev. Ronald Wiley.
Pallbearers were Dr. Walter B. Kilby, Timothy Kilby, George K. Miller, BUI KUby, Dutton Yowell, Aylette Buckner HI, Rothwell LUlard and Everett Yowell.
Clore Funeral Home in Culpeper was in charge of arrangements.□ ^ ?
