Mrs. Charles Baker Palmer, Jr. of Lawrenceville, Virginia announces the engagement of her daughter, Amelia Harrison, to Joseph Manuel Bowman, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Carlyle Bowman of Hillsville. Miss Palmer is the daughter of the late Mr. Palmer. The Palmers formerly lived in Rappahannock.
Miss Palmer and Mr. Bowman were graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. A June wedding is planned. □
